Where is Black Country Barbell located?
We are located right in the middle of Stourbridge Town Centre on Talbot Street. There is a map available in the contact us section if needed!
Am I allowed to use chalk in the gym?
Absolutely - use as much chalk as you feel you need to for your workouts.
Sometimes I need to drop the weights - is this allowed?
Yes - we've installed extra thick 20mm rubber matting for this purpose, so members don't have to worry about dropping the weights.
Will I be tied into a contract?
No, there are no contracts or joining fees at Black Country Barbell.
Do you offer day passes?
At the moment we are not offering day passes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Do you have showers and changing facilities?
We have multiple showers and changing facilities, along with lockers that are free for members to use.

How do I get in the gym?
After signing up, we will issue you with your own Black Country Barbell membership card to allow you entry.
Is there anywhere to park?
Being situated in the middle of a town means there is plenty of street parking in the surrounding area. There is also 2 hours free parking at the large Tesco a few minutes walk from the gym, and 2 free hours parking in the Rye-Market multi-storey car park.
Do you have coaches or personal trainers?
Yes - we have a variety of different coaches and personal trainers who all specialise in different areas of fitness. Drop us an email if you're interested in coaching or personal training at: email@example.com
Is Black Country Barbell only for powerlifters?
No, whilst Black Country Barbell is targeted towards powerlifters, strongmen and bodybuilders, everybody is welcome regardless of fitness levels and abilities. If you're passionate about fitness and self improvement then you are always welcome.
